š Week Notes, No. 10.25
Weekly Highlights of March 3rd - 9th:
š¶ Finn had surgery this week to find and remove his testes that never dropped. One was in his abdomen, requiring a second incision. It's been a challenge to keep him from moving around a lot, but he's starting to feel a bit better.
š¼ My boss was let go at work in the middle of a day this week. She wasn't given a reason, not was she allowed to say goodbye to the rest of us. I'm pretty upset about it, as we had a really good working relationship. Our department just feels like a rudderless ship now. We have an interim manager standing in, who thinks she knows the best way to do everything -- including my job. My hours were also cut from 40 down to 25-30, which is disappointing. I'm back on the market for a new job.
š I applied to go back to school for a post-bachelor's technical diploma in a Paralegal program at the local technical college. I'm still waiting to get all of the info settled, but will hopefully be starting in the summer term.
šš»āāļø I ordered a walking pad for under my standing desk. It's nothing spectacular, but it's helping me get my steps in on busy days and days when the weather is bad. So, yay for that.
