๐ Week Notes, No. 2024.27

Weekly Highlights of July 1st - 7th:
๐ป I completed the Video Observation and Teaching Large Classes courses in my TEFL certification program! I have one course left to go: Telephone Teaching Course. Iโm so excited to be so close to finishing!
๐ณ Week 11 of league bowling. The pair we bowled against were way too good, lol. We lost all three games. By a lot. 101, 130, 108 for me. It was not a good night. Three weeks to go.
๐ My hometown underwent massive flooding after receiving ten inches of rain in one hour. Numerous streets washed away, the dam breached, but somehow did not break The millpond drained almost entirely. The main town park and campground were and still are completely under water. The town nursing home was evacuated and the residents, including my Grandma, were placed at the Veterans Home & Hospital in King. We donโt know how long theyโll be there, but itโll be at least a week or two. No lives were lost, but there is a lot of damage. A lot. And more rain is on the way.
