Weekly Highlights of August 5th - 11th:

🎨 I drew two new art pieces this week. They are portraits of Stephen Nedoroscik, the pommel horse specialist for the US men’s gymnastics team who wowed everyone at the Olympics in Paris. One has some color, the other is black and white. I’ve shared them pretty extensively in hopes that he’d see them, but if you haven’t and would like to, you can find one of them here.

📱 I made the decision to trade in my Samsung Galaxy S4 Ultra. It's a great phone, but is just too big and heavy for me. My hands aren't big enough to hold it comfortably, and the thing fits is exactly none of the pockets on my clothing. I opted for a Motorola Razr+, which Is really enjoying. I had tried a Nothing Phone CMF, and while I loved the phone itself, it was a foreign version, so mobile data wouldn't work with my carrier. It was so disappointing.

🙃 I survived my family reunion. Most of the confrontational relatives weren't there, which was a big relief. I did get to see some of my favorite people, though, and that was really nice.

🧓🏻 I also got to visit my grandma! She looked great and said she was doing well. We watched a little of the men's gold medal basketball game together and paged through a photo book of my our town's 150th anniversary (which was the previous week). As always, it was great to see her, and I'm glad she's doing so well.
